Frequently asked questions
How do I make my first video?
Open DupVid, add a video (from your library, or share it to DupVid from another app), pick a character, then choose Instant remake for a video in one tap, or Remake to fine-tune the scene, captions, speech, outfit and look step by step.
How do I share a video to DupVid from another app?
Save the video to your Photos, open it, tap Share and choose DupVid. If you don't see it, scroll the app row to the end, tap More, and add DupVid. The video will be waiting in DupVid the next time you open it.
How do credits work?
Your plan includes video credits each month. Creating, remaking and upscaling videos use credits; the app always shows the cost before you confirm. If a video fails because of a problem on our side, the credits are returned.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → DupVid. You keep access until the end of the current period.
Can I get a refund?
App Store purchases are refunded by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I got a new phone. How do I get my subscription back?
Open DupVid, go to the plans screen and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID. Your characters and videos are tied to your DupVid account on the original device.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, open the menu and tap Delete my data. This permanently deletes your account, characters, videos, credits and settings. It doesn't cancel your App Store subscription; cancel that separately in Settings.
How do I report a video or a misuse of my likeness?
In the app, open the video and tap the flag icon, or use Report in the video's menu. If someone used your image or content without permission, email legal@dupvid.app with the details and we'll review it quickly.
What content isn't allowed?
Sexual content, anything involving minors, using someone's likeness without their consent, impersonation, and content meant to deceive or harm. See the Terms of Service for the full rules.
